Fiverr is an excellent place for beginners who want to sell their services online to clients worldwide. The platform offers free video lessons for new freelancers providing advice on how to get started.
As a buyer, you can purchase on Fiverr using PayPal, credit or debit card, or Fiverr credit. As a seller, Fiverr charges a 20% fee for every order placed on your gig. The rest of the amount gets credited to your account, which you can retrieve through various channels.
Fiverr has more than 400 categories for you to choose from. If you have any skills that you can offer online, you have an opportunity to be a freelancer through Fiverr. These include graphic design, animation, web development, voiceovers, content writing, and more.
Fiverr rates its sellers based on their performance over a period. Each level requires specific criteria to be met. This criterion includes the number of orders, the amount earned, response time, etc. The first tier is known as Level 1. After which, you can move to Level 2 and then, finally, to a top-rated seller if all requirements are met.
Fiverr Pro is a tier reserved for the cream of the industry crop. You can apply to become a Fiverr Pro seller by filling out an application form. Once your level of experience and ability is approved, Fiverr will mark all your gigs with the Pro badge.
